Enquiries

Please be aware that most enquiries, including enquiries about prescriptions, test results and referrals can now be submitted via our website and will be responded to within 2 working days.

Online Services/NHS App
We highly recommend you register for Online Services and/or the NHS App. Using either of these you can book into appointments, order repeat medication, check your test results, or view your full medical record. You can also use the NHS app to show your COVID-19 passport and vaccination status.

If you need to speak to someone urgently, the following telephone options are available:
Our telephone system has a virtual queuing system. We take a huge number of calls requesting same day appointments when our lines open at 8am – you may even hear that you are number 60 or 80 in the queue. Please be patient as we normally work through this queue within 20 minutes. If you are calling for any reason other than to book for a same day appointment please call after 10am.

For test results between the hours of 3:00pm-6:00pm
Between these hours we can answer queries regarding test results.
Please be advised that test results are highly confidential information. For this reason we reserve the right to refuse disclosure for those querying another person’s results without their written permission to do so.

Prescriptions
Please be aware that we are unable to issue repeat prescriptions over the phone. These must be done in writing either at the surgery in person or online using our Repeat Prescription Triage.

Referrals
If you require information regarding a medical referral, you will need to speak to a medical secretary. Please be advised that our medical secretaries are not involved in the booking of appointments.
